OpenEye is excited to announce the release of the EASY DVR. Available in 4, 8 and 16 channel models, the EasyDVR is a cost effective video recording solution. The recorder uses H.264 compression on a Linux embedded platform for efficient use of storage space and a stable operating environment.
Free mobile apps for both Android and iPhone are available for all models of the EasyDVR making it easy to view live video, search and playback video, and manage recorder settings from almost anywhere using a smart phone. Users can easily access the recorder from any internet connected computer using the browser-based remote software to view, manage and configure the system. For peace of mind, every EasyDVR comes with a free ReportStar® account for cloud-based health monitoring of the recorder. ReportStar monitors functions such as recorder health, recording duration, and camera image verification from an online portal.

Mobile Apps Now Available for Professional Recorders

New versions of OpenEye’s MDVR mobile application for iPhone, Blackberry and Android mobile devices are now available. The new versions of MDVR are compatible with Professional Grade (X, Xr, H & N-Series) recorders as well as all Generation 3 E-Series DVRs with added support for megapixel cameras.
MDVR is compatible with all Generation 3 E-Series DVRs and Professional Grade recorders with v4.50.19+ software and allows users to view cameras live from any DVR connected to the internet. The MDVR application is available free through the iTunes Apps Store, Android Market and BlackBerry App World.
